Austin joined UNC Health Ventures in 2025. As Portfolio Manager, Austin focuses on evaluating investments for strategic alignment and supporting portfolio companies in their development and success.

Before joining the team, Austin served in a consulting role on UNC Health’s Strategic Planning team, contributing to system-wide planning and growth initiatives. Prior to his tenure at UNC Health, he held roles in provider relations, business development, and strategy at companies across various sectors of the healthcare industry.

Austin received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from the University of Colorado.
